FREE LESSONS FOR ALL FRONT-LINE WORKER KIDS STARTING MAY 25!
I'm an E.L Crossley graduate from Pelham, Ontario, who just completed my first year of Life Sciences at McMaster University. In high school, I was the Deputy Prime Minister of our Students Council, OFSAA volleyball champ, and member of the marching & concert bands. My hobbies outside school include babysitting and volunteering my time at the local hospital as well as at the Pelham Library.
After my summer job got cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided I wanted to spend my free time finding ways to give back to my community. I am currently volunteering as a delivery driver for my local food bank. However, as the daughter of a front-line worker, I have been experiencing just how difficult and stressful these unprecedented times are. It had me realized that I wanted to create an initiative that would specifically help front-line workers and help relieve some of the pressure from their everyday lives.
Academics have always been a big part of my life. I've always enjoyed learning and teaching others. For some time now, I have been tutoring my younger brother and fellow peers. I decided to combine my passion for teaching with my experience from babysitting to create Front-line Tots! I hope this program is able to bring a little bit of ease into your lives and help your children with their educational needs. Thank you for your support!(:
